“I go on and on
Can’t understand how I last so long
I must have super powers
Rap 225 thousand hours”
Borrowed lyrics that Young Money artist Drake recited on his new single with Dj Khaled “For Free”. We all know those infamous words came from Legendary rapper Too Short. Recently Dj Funky caught up with Too Short in Atlanta & they spoke on everything from his lyrics, style, & tempo, being borrowed. Like the real OG he is, he doesn’t mind! Keep his legacy going, 30 years in the game and Short Dog has 2016 concerts left and right. Catch him in New Orleans Saturday September 3rd at the UNO Lakefront Arena Headlining the Super Fresh Hip Hop Festival featuring acts like Doug E Fresh, EPMD, Slick Rick, and more!
Now, back to the Juice, Too Short goes on to explain what the “Money Shot” really is & boy am I surprised, a lot of us (I Know I’m not the only one) thought “Money Shot” was simply a nice view of a woman’s backside. Nooooooo! lol we couldn’t be further from the truth. Short gives us “Sloppy Seconds” tutorial right quick clearly his special since “Cocktails” which was the gigolo journal. You have to catch the entire interview, get a lil knowledge on music, lyrics, history and much more with these 2!

Where your ass was at dog, when niggas wouldn’t feed me?
Where your ass was at dog, when bitches didn’t need me?
Where your ass was at dog, when niggas tried to run off?
Where your ass was at dog? You made me pull this gun out
Where your ass was at, dog, you went and switched sides?
Where your ass was at, dog, when niggas spread lies on him?
Where your ass was at, dog, when the bodies came sliding?
Where your ass was at, dog, when I was serving piles?
The Drake–Meek Mill ghostwriting beef has taken the hip hop community by storm, and after Drake dropped Meek Mill diss track “Charged Up” and Meek fired back during his Pinkprint Tour set , it only appears to be escalating. The CDQ of “Charged Up” is at last available, allowing us to listen to the disrespect in high definition. Lost in all the fuss is the sheer awesomeness of this beat. It’s haunting and low key, which probably contributes to the lack of perceived fire on Drake’s part. Are you on board with Drizzy’s understated delivery or should he have brought the high heat?As I told yall before I’m NOT choosing sides on this one, I rock with Drizzy & Milly, what are your thoughts?Full Lyrics Below

If you dont know about Atlanta’s annual Birthday Bash, then you don’t know hip hop! Each year the “Creme De La Creme” or “Best of The Best” and the “Who’s Who” of the industry take the center stage to show the Hip Hop Capitol whats really good. This year was no exception, the fans were prepared to see Meek but Drake and Nicki were a delightful surprise. Not only did Drake perform his latest hits including Energy, You & The 6, his verse of Fetty Wop’s My Way, and Legend but he tastefully remained on stage during Future’s performance as a supportive hype man. If I may add, I personally had a moment when Drake gave yelled ” Shot out to that Freebandz shit, What up Kirkwood!”
Boy oh boy the Astronaut Kid did not let us down performing his super charged club banger “Fuk Up Some Commas”. To top it all off what a sauced up performance to began it all from ya boy Milly aka Meek Mill blessing us with one of my favorites “Monster” Check out the video below, leave comments let me know your opinion.
